Still in Flight (Print)

Inspired by the common starling and the extraordinary way thousands of them can move together as one, Still in Flight was painted during a season when I was thinking a lot about freedom, uncertainty and finding direction. There is something comforting to me about a bird in flight — and even more so in the idea that we don't always have to know exactly where we're going to keep moving.
